The correct option is C 25
Number of flowers sold in 5 days =17
The rate at which they are sold each day remains the same.
Therefore, rate of sales =number of flowers soldnumber of days=175
Let’s assume 85 flowers are sold in x days.
As the rate of sales remains the same,
17:5::85:x
175=85x
By cross - multiplication, we get:
17x=5×85
x=5×8517
x=25
Hence, 85 flowers will be sold in 25 days.
