The correct option is A

EH=GF = (222x) m

EF =GH =(282x) m

Let the width of the path be x m.

Area of the path =Area (ABCD)-Area (EFGH)

600=(28×22)(282x)(222x)

600=28×2228×22+56x+44x4x2

4x2100x+600=0

x225x+150=0

x215x10x+150=0

x(x15)10(x15)=0

(x10)(x15)=0

x=10 or x=15

x can't be 15 be cause (222x) and (282x) both will be negative.

x=10 or width of the path =10 m.
