Given: Force F = 10.5 N, Diameter d= 0.5 m i.e. Radius r= 0.52 =0.25 m, θ = 90 degrees, as the force is acting tangentially to disc.

We know that, τ = rFsinθ

Therefore, τ = 0.25×10.5×sin90 = 2.625 Nm

So the torque produced due to the application of 10.5 N force to a disc is 2.625 Nm.
