Since the body is moving in horizontal direction only. So force component along horizontal direction is

$F=10\cos 60$

$=10\times \frac{1}{2}$

$=5N$

$\because a=\frac{F}{m}$

$=\frac{5}{2}=2.5m{s}^{-2}$
