The correct option is B 16 m s1
Given:
Force F=20 N, mass m=10 kg and time t=8 s.
Let initial velocity be u, acceleration be a and as body double its velocity in 8 s, final velocity, v=2u.
From, Newton's second law ,we know F=ma=m(vut)
Substituting the values, we get,
20=10(vut)
2=2uu8 (v=2u)
u=16 m s1
Therefore, initial velocity of the body is 16 m s1
