Given:
Force F=50 N,
Mass m=2 kg,
Initial kinetic energy =100 J,
Final kinetic energy =200 J
change in kinetic energy =100 J
According to work-energy theorem, work done by the force will be equal to the change in kinetic energy of the body.
Here, change in kinetic energy = 100 J
As we know that:
Work done = Force × displacement.
Therefore, 100 J = 50× displacement.
So, displacement = 2 m.
