Acceleration acting on a freely falling body is always g downwards. So for a freely falling stone it has uniform acceleration. If it has some acceleration in direction of velocity then it can not have uniform velocity or speed.
So correct answer is option C not D because uniform motion means covering same distance in same interval of time.
