Solution

Calculate the jump of a frog

Given

A frog jumps 2m 28cm and the other frog jumps 48cm less than the first frog

According to the question

2m 28cm - 48cm

We know that

1m =100cm

2m =200cm

2m 28cm =200+28

2m 28cm =228cm

2m 28cm - 48cm=228-48

2m 28cm - 48cm =180

But 180=100+80=1m 80cm

Hence, the second frog jumps 1m 80cm.
