C.P $=$ Rs $90$ per dozen
cost of per mango $=$ $90 / 12$
Rs $7.5$ per mango
he sold at the loss of $8 %$
S.P $=$ $7.5 - (8 / 100) \times 7.5$
$=$ $7.5 - 0.6$
$=$ $6.9$
$i)$ Now the customer will pay Rs $6.9$ per mango.
$ii)$ Now the cost of $40$ mangoes
$=$ $6.9 \times 40 = 276$
Hence,
the cost of $40$ mangoes is $276$ .
