Solution

The correct option is A 1.875
375 mL, 500 mL, 250 ml and 750 ml are in milliliters.

First Method:

Let's convert them into liters and finally add them.

We know that 1000 ml = 1 L
1 mL=11000 L=0.001 L
  • 375 mL = 375×0.001=0.375 L
  • 500 mL = 500×0.001=0.5 L
  • 250 mL = 250×0.001=0.25 L
  • 750 mL = 750×0.001=0.75 L
Total quantity of juice in liters
=0.375 L+0.5 L+0.25 L+0.75 L=1.875 L

Second method:

We first add the quantities in milliliters and then convert the result into liters.

Total quantity of juice in milliliters
= 375 mL + 500 mL + 250 mL + 750 mL
=1875 mL

Now, 1875 mL=18751000 L=1.875 L
