Given function is xx2 for x0

which is equal to x|x|

means for x<0x|x|=xx=1

x>0x|x|=xx=1
at x=0, given function=0
limx0+x|x|=1
limx0x|x|=1

LHL(at x=0) and RHL(x=0) and value of function at x=0 are not equal so the function is discontinious.
