= $\frac{500x}{500+x}=Req$

=$\frac{i_1}{i_2}=\frac{R_2}{R_1}=\frac{1}{101}$

$\frac{\frac{500x}{500+x}}{500+x}=\frac{1}{101}Req$

= 100x=500

$x=5\Omega$
