The correct option is D 0 units
When primary coil is short circuited, no current will pass through the winding and all the current would pass through the short. Hence there would be no changing magnetic flux in the core and hence no transformer action. Since there is no current in primary winding, there would be no current in secondary. Hence the galvanometer shows a reading of zero units.
