Resistance of galvanometer is Rg=50Ω
Total current through galvanometer Ig=25×4×104=102A,
Range of voltage ,V=25volt.
For converting galvanometer to voltmeter, we connect a high resistance (HR) in series.
thus, V=(HR+Rg)Ig
or HR=VIgRg=2510250=250050=2450Ω
