Using the relation, U=Q+W

W=Pext(V2V1)=1.5 atm(1.00.5) L; [1 L.atm=101.33 Joule]

W=1.5×0.5 L.atm=0.75 L.atm

W=0.75×101.33 Joule

W=75.99 Joule

U=200 J75.99 J=124.0 J
