The bulk modulus for a gas is given by:
K=VdPdV
and given that:
TVn1=constant
Ideal gas equation gives us the relation
PV=nRT
i.e.
PVn=constant
Differentiating we get:
PnVn1+VndPdV=0
i.e.

Hence bulk modulus K=nP
