We know that, Internal energy (U)
U=nfRT2
For O2, [n=2 and f=5 (diatomic)]
U1=2×5×RT2

For Ar, [n=4 and f=3 (monoatomic)]

On adding (1) and (2),
Total internal energy =11RT
