The correct option is A 4
$G e a r R a t i o = \frac{D r i v i n g W h e e l}{D r i v e n W h e e l}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{2}{20} = \frac{1}{10} = 1$ : $10$
Also, Gear Ratio $\frac{N u m b e r o f t e e t h i n t h e d r i v e n w h e e l}{N u m b e r o f t e e t h i n t h e d r i v i n g w h e e l} = \frac{1}{10}$
Now, Number of teeth in the driving wheel $= \frac{N u m b e r o f t e e t h i n t h e d r i v e n w h e e l}{G e a r R a t i o} = \frac{40}{\frac{1}{10}} = 10 \times 40 = 400$
