A geostationary satellite is moving in a circular orbit at a height 36000km from the surface of earth. calculate its speed if it takes 24 hours to revolve around the earth?

The radius of the orbit =6400+36000=42400km
circumference of the orbit 2πR
=2×3.14×42400
=266272km

speed=DistanceTime

=26627224=11094.67km/h.
