Solution

The correct option is D $ 264
Rectangular prism-shaped Kaleidoscope

Cost =$2/ft2

Total Surface area=2×Area of the floor +area of the walls

Area of the floor =12×base×height=122=6
Since there is a triangular top also

Total Surface area =2×6 ft2+area of the walls
=12+area of the walls

Area of the Walls = Sum of the area of all three rectangular faces
=3×10+4×10+5×10
=30+40+50

Total surface area=12+Area of the walls
=12+30+40+50
=132 ft2

Cost of wrapping the Kaleidoscope = ( Total Surface Area) × Cost
=132×2
=$ 264
