A girl has four squares of side 8cm. What will be the perimeter of the largest rectangle that can be formed using these four small squares?
There are 4 squares of side 8 cm. When we keep the square next to each other, the length of the side will be 8×4 = 32 and the breadth will be 8 .. Hence it will form a rectangle of length 32 cm and breadth 8 cm.Hence the perimeter of the rectangle = 2( 32 + 8) = 40 ( Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth)
