The correct option is B 13.5 m
The ball will continue to move upwards as long as it has velocity. At maximum height v=0. We choose point of projection as origin, and upward direction to be positive.

From the equation, v2y=u2y+2ayy
v2y=u2y2gy
At maximum height,
ymax=u2y2g
=1522×9.8=11.5
y=ymax+2=11.5+2=13.5 m
