Given girl walked $12 k m$ at speed of $3 k m p h$ speed required to

travel $12 k m h r$ in $1$ hour is speed $=$ $\frac{d i s t a n c e}{t i m e}$

$∴ S = \frac{12}{1} = 12 k m p h$

$∴$ change in speed is

$Δ =$ $i n i t i a l - f i n a l s p e e d$

$Δ = 12 - 3$

$= 9 k m p h$
