The correct option is C

Volume of water displaced in cylinder = Volume of the metal cube

Let the height of water raised = h cm

Volume of water displaced in cylinder =π(7)2h[d=14,r=d2=7 cm]

Volume of cube = (8×8×8) cm3

π(7)2h=8×8×8

h=8×8×8×/722×7×/7=3.3 cm

Hence the water will rise by 3.3 cm
