Initially:
l=45cm (2l+10=100 cm)
P1=P2=P(say) .......... (1)
Applying gas law at end A,
45AP300=(45x)AP1273 ........... (2)
Here, A is the area of the cross-section.
Now, at end B, 45AP300=(45+x)AP2400 ......... (3)
From (1), (2) and (3):
(45x)273=45+x400

x=8.49 cm
