= Increase in the volume of the liquid − increase in the volume of the container

=V0△T(γl−3αg)(∵γ≈3α).
= Increase in the volume of the liquid − increase in the volume of the container
=[V0(1+γl△T)−V0]−[V0(1+γg△T)−V0]=V0△T(γl−γg)
