K2MnO4+2H2O+4CO22KMnO4(purple)+MnO2(brown solid)+2KHCO3

In the above reaction the oxidation state of Mn changes from +6 (K2MnO4) to +4 (MnO2) and +7 (KMnO4) so the same species is getting oxidised and reduce, hence it is a disproportionation reaction
