Solution

No.of eggs bought by grocer=10*12=120
No.of eggs broken=10
No.of eggs remaining=120-10=110

Rate of eggs=55/dozen
he bought 10 dozen of eggs
Total CP=55*10=550

No.of eggs he can sell=110
Total Selling price,SP
Given that ((SP-CP)/CP)=10/100---------because(10% profit)
=>(SP-CP)/CP=0.1
=>SP=0.1CP+CP
SP=1.1CP
=1.1*550
=605
therfore selling price of each egg=SP/No.of eggs he can sell=605/110
=5.5

So he should sell 5.5 rupees per egg to gain aprofit of 10%
which he should sell a dozen of eggs at a rate of (12*5.5)=66 rupees for a profit of 10%
