A groces purchased 50 kg salt at the rate of Rs.8 per kg and mixed it with 70 kg salt purchased at the rate of Rs.5 per kg. At what rate per kg must he sell the mixture to make a profit of 20%?

Cost price of 50kg is 8×50=400Rs.
Cost price of 70kg is 5×70=350Rs.
Total weight of salt 50+70=120kg
Total cost =400+350=750Rs.
Cost of 1kg is 750120=253=8.33Rs
Profit %=ProfitCP×100=20Profit8.33×100=20Profit=20×8.33100=1.66
So He need to sell 1kg of salt for 8.33+1.66=10Rs.
