Let x members can finish the wheat in 18 day.
Therefore :

Less days, more men
$3:x=18:30\Rightarrow \frac{3}{x}=\frac{18}{30}$
$\Rightarrow x\times 18=3\times 30\Rightarrow x=\frac{3\times 30}{18}=5$
$\therefore$ 5 new members can consume the wheat.
Number of members already = 3
$\therefore$ 5-3=2 more member joined them.
