Force, $F = 1.5 N$

Area of nail A = $2 m m^{2} = 2 \times 10^{- 6} m^{2}$

Hence, pressure on nail A = $\frac{1.5}{2 \times 10^{- 6}} = 7.5 \times 10^{5} P a$

Area of nail B = $6 m m^{2} = 6 \times 10^{- 6} m^{2}$

Hence, pressure on nail A = $\frac{1.5}{6 \times 10^{- 6}} = 2.5 \times 10^{5} P a$
