Let us consider a vertical circular motion of speed v.


Let A,B,C and D be the points on a vertical circle as shown in the figure.
By applying F=ma along radial direction at A, we get
Tmg=mv2rT=mv2r+mg............(1)
at B, we get
T=mv2r ...............(2)
at C, we get
T+mgcos30=mv2rT=mv2rmg cos 30(3)
at D, we get
T+mg=mv2rT=mv2rmg(4)

From (1),(2),(3) and (4), we can see that the value of tension in the string is maximum at point A i.e at lowest point.
wire has more chance to break at this point.
Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
