Formula: 1 Mark
Application: 2 Marks

Surface area that has to be plated = Curved surface area of the hemisphere bowl + surface area of the plate

=2πr2+πr2

=2×227×3.52+227×3.52

=3×227×3.52

=115.5cm2

Hence cost of tin plating

=115.5×10100

=Rs.11.55
