Solution

Outer radius=R=82=4cm

Inner radius=r=52=2.5cm

Height of the pipe=40cm

Volume of the material=πh(R+r)(Rr)cu.units
=227×40(4+2.5)(42.5)cu.cm
=227×40×6.5×1.5cu.cm

Given: weight of the pipe if 1cc of iron weighs 7gm.
Weight of the hollow cylindrical iron pipe=227×40×6.5×1.5×7cu.cm
