The correct option is D Both will reach at the same time
Considering the air resistance as nil, the weight in both the cases will be mg. So, the acceleration would be g by newton's second law of motion.
Now , s=ut+12gt2
s: displacement is same for both the balls
u=0 for both and g=9.8m/s2

So both of them will take the same time to reach the ground .
