Sides of the rectangular base are 20 cm and 10 cm.

Area of the rectangular base = $20\times 10=200c{m}^2$

Let the height of water displaced in the prism = h cm.

Volume of solid cube = Volume of water displaced in the prism

$8\times 8\times 8$ = $200\times h$

= $\frac{8\times 8\times 8}{200}=2.56cm$

The water level would rise by 2.56 cm
