Velocity of balloon is 42 m/s

s = -80m, a = -10 m/s2

u = 42 m/s

80=42t+12(10)t2

80=42t5t2

t = 10, 85

t=10s

v2=u2+2as

v2=(42)2+2(10)(80)

= 1764 + 1600

= 3364 m/s

v=±58m/s

u=58m/s
