Let the number of cans should be
purchorsed be x
Tetal cost =20x
Each cans has 3 kg paints.
Total amount of paint =3x kg
A mount of wastage =10100×3x=310x
A/q,3x3x10=30
3x(10110)=30
x×9=10×10
x=1009=11.11
But xN
x=12
Hence,
Total cost =20×12=240
