(a) Organic farmers create a system where the insects are not eradicated, but are kept at manageable levels naturally and controlled biologically. [1]

Examples are :

(i) The lady bird are useful to get rid of aphids.

(ii) Dragon flies are used to rid mosquitoes.

(ii) Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) are used to control butterfly caterpillars , caterpillars and cotton bollworm. [0.5+0.5] (any two can be written)
