Control and coordination in plants

Control and coordination in animals

1

Control and coordination in plants is done by some chemical substances called phytohormones or plant hormones.

Animals use hormones along with the whole nervous system for ensuring the activity of control and coordination.

2

Plants mostly do not respond very quickly like animals as they do not have a nervous system. They just respond to various stimuli by growing very slowly.

Animals respond to stimuli very quickly due to the presence of the nervous system that quickly transfers impulses bringing immediate response to stimuli.
