After this the downward acceleration 'g' is same for both monkey and bullet. Hence the direction of the bullet during its motion is always towards the dropping monkey and at the cross section of the path followed by monkey and path followed by the bullet. The bullet will hit the monkey.
Note: If monkey does not drop at the time of firing the bullet, the bullet will not hit the monkey.
