Benzoicacid reacts with NH3 to form ammoniumsalt which on heating decomposes to form benzamide

ii)
Benzene is formylated in Gatterman-Koch formylation reaction, upon treatment with CO and HCl in the presence of anhydrous AlCl3 catalyst.

b) When carbonyl compounds are treated with hydrazine, hydrazone derivates are formed.
