Let the other two elemnts of matrix A be x and y

A=(1x2y)

A2=AA=(1x2y)(1x2y)=(1+2xx+xy2+2y2x+y2)

As given elemnets of A2(11)=(10)

Comparing the elemnts of A2 we get 1+2x=1x=0and2+2y=0y=1

A=(1021)

So the sum of elemts of matrix A=1+2+01=2
