Solution

The correct option is D 35
Let P(A)= Probability of getting first company by the candidates.
Similarly, P(B) ξ P(C) be the probability of getting into second and third company respectively.
P(ABC)=P(A)+P(B)+P(C)P(AB)P(AC)P(BC)+P(ABC)
P(A)=14 P(B)=13 P(C)=15
P(ABC)=14+13+15(14×13)(14×15)(13×15)+(134×13×15)
=14+13+15112120115+160

=15+20+12534+160
=35.
Hence, the answer is 35.
