Let Amount of work done by B in one day =1x if it takes x days to complete the work alone
As, A is twice as good as B in work, it will take x2 days to do the work and
Amount of work done by A alone in one day =2x
Amount of work done by both of them in one day =1x+2x=3x
Thus, number of days taken by both of them to do the work together =13x=14
=>x=42
So, number of days A takes to do the work alone =422=21
