Jug = 4 L
Glass = 400 mL
We can’t take the ratio of the two because they are not in the same units.
Converting 4L in mL
We know 1 L = 1000 mL
Jug = 4L = 4 x 1000 = 4000 mL
Now taking ratio of Glass to Jug =
400 / 4000 = 1 : 10
