It consists of a rectangle of dimensions 10ft and 12 ft and a triangle of dimensions 10 ft and 4 ft.

Area of the triangle= 12×base × height

Base of the triangle = 10 ft

Height of the triangle = 4 ft

Area = 12× 10 × 4 = 20 sq ft

Area of rectangle = base × width

base of rectangle = 12 ft

width of rectangle = 10 ft

Area = 12 × 10 = 120 sq ft

Hence, area of the composite figure = 120 + 20 = 140 sq ft
