A kite has two pairs of congruent (equal) sides. If two sides are 56cmand34cm, what is the perimeter of the kite?

Let abe the length of the first pair and bbe the length of the second pair

a=AB=BC=34cm

and b=AD=CD=56cm

Step2: Finding the perimeter of kite

Perimeter of kite=2(a+b)

=2(34+56)

=2×90

=180cm

Hence, Perimeter of the kite is 180cm.
