Let AB be the wall and BC be the ladder
Then $∠ A C B = 60^{0}$ and $B C = 19 m$
Let $A C = X$ meters
$\frac{A C}{B C} = cos 60^{0}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{X}{19} = \frac{1}{2}$
$\Rightarrow X = \frac{19}{2} = 9.5$
$∴$ Distance of the foot of the ladder from the wall
$= 9.5 m$
