Let the total length of the post b x m
Then length of post in mud$=\frac{x}{2}$
Length of post in water $=\frac{x}{3}$
Given $=\frac{x}{2}-\frac{x}{3}=3\frac{1}{3}=\frac{10}{3}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{6}=\frac{10}{3}\Rightarrow x=20m$
